Roof Lanterns

Allow natural light to flood into your new flat roof extension with a glass roof lantern in a choice of K2 aluminium or Ultraframe uPVC clad aluminium systems.

All lantern roofs are made to measure and are available in standard white finish or a wide range of RAL colours and many wood grain colours including oak, rosewood, green, black and grey.  Subject to size you can also add electric or manual opening roof vents for additional ventilation and our roof lanterns can also be supplied with upvc or aluminium window side frames if required.

There are many different styles available including octagonal, square, pyramid and the traditional double hipped roof lantern.  

ALUMINIUM OR UPVC SYSTEMS

We offer a choice of lantern roof systems depending on your budget and specification requirements.  Both systems are available with or without cresting and finials

UPVC

The upvc system will be the most cost-effective choice and provides an aluminium roof structure clad externally and internally with thermally efficient upvc profiles.  uPVC lanterns are available in white and a range of wood grain foiled finishes including light oak, rosewood, cream, grey, black and chartwell light green.  Please note that some colours are only available externally with white finish internally.

ALUMINIUM 

Our aluminium lantern roof is supplied with all external cappings in powder coated aluminium to any RAL colour.  Internal claddings are colour matched upvc for optimum thermal efficiency.

Solar Control Double Glazing 

All roof lanterns are available with a choice of various glass options including self cleaning Activ Blue offering 1.2 U-value or Staycool solar control providing a 1.0 U-value.  The Staycool subtle green tint provides the most effective solar control option reflecting 78% of the sun's heat away from the roof glazing whilst the self clean external coating uses daylight and rain to keep your roof glass clean all year round.  The low E inner glass and argon filled cavity ensure maximum heat retention during the colder months of the year.

Delivery and Installation

Lantern roofs are pre-assembled in the factory and then packed in assembly kit form with full installation instructions. Delivery is included to mainland UK destinations except Scottish Highlands. 

In some areas we may be able to recommend an installer to carry out a pre-order survey and fit your roof lantern at additional cost.  If you have also ordered bifolding doors we can often arrange for installation of both items to commence on the same day.
