Their innovative design, through the minimisation of intermediate glazing bars, maximises the glazed area allowing the maximum amount of light to pass through. Ultrasky aluminium roof lanterns from Folding Doors 2 U bring more of the outside inside and the increased light can make your rooms feel lighter, airy and more spacious.
Ultrasky roof lanterns incorporate the use of 24mm SmartGlass. This innovative solar control glass has a number of key benefits over traditional glazing. The solar properties of SmartGlass help to regulate the temperature of your room. During warm weather the glass reflects more of the suns radiation without blocking the light, this helps to keep your room cool in the summer without the need for blinds. Likewise, SmartGlass also helps to prevent heat loss during the colder months with both comfort and economic benefits. In addition to its’ thermal properties, the SmartGlass used in Ultrasky roof lanterns is self-cleaning to help minimise the amount of cleaning that is required.
To help complement your existing fixtures, fitting and décor, Ultrasky roof lanterns are available in a choice of finishes including black, white and anthracite grey. External cappings are powder coated aluminium which are resilient to the weather whilst the internal cappings are UPVC which are durable and easy to clean and maintain.
